Providing primary education for children from underprivileged families in Burkina Faso.
Sababu is a free private and state-approved primary school with more than 650 pupils.
Why we do it?
Because Children have the Right to Education!
Join forces with Sababu and help us continue giving education.
We are a balafon musician from Burkina Faso and a great bunch of helpers from Austria and around the world.
And we are also all those children eager to learn how to read, write and graduate from school.
With your help we want to keep the primary school running and also reach our next ambitious goals. Sababu is growing to become a regular high school! We are currently working on:
If you haven't tried the west african djembes it is about time!
Beat the drums with Mamadou Diabaté and support Sababu.
* For school workshops we need at least 150 children (approx. 6 classes). Costs: 5,50 € per child + transport.
We are so proud of these achievements!
Thanks for the generous help of all Sababu Members and contributors for their efforts and support along the way!
